Witchblade (Summer Swap 2026)

Here is my entry for the 2026 Legendary Summer Swap: Witchblade! This figure was made for Marca Diablo Toys and she sure was a challenge. It took me a good 3-4 sessions working on the armour before I starting figuring out exactly what I was doing, thankfully I found my groove which helped keep things moving. I did 2-3 sculpt sessions every day for over 2 weeks to get this all done. Trying to find ways to work around the giant shoulder spike was also a real pain in the ass. I ended up doing a swappable hair piece to so I could get her hair off her shoulders and give her head some useful motion (the long hair down wig is extremely limited in movement unfortunately). I’m glad I did though because I ended up really liking the flowing hair (which is surprising cause I am generally not good at sculpting long hair). She started as a Shriek with MCU Gamora feet and a head sculpt I bought off eBay. Her paint job was mostly straight forward and I am overall pretty happy with most of this figure (I wish I would have shaved some of the arms and legs down more before I sculpted armour over it to keep it a bit more slender but as is I still think it works.)
